Our Mission
Raising Forever Homes believe that everyone, including people with special needs, should be given the opportunity to obtain their fullest potential with dignity and wholesome quality of life. We believe that special needs individuals have the right to choose to live where they will be safe and have their needs met in a Christian environment. We believe that family and community is very important to all of us and special needs individuals deserve to have a strong community around them for support. We also believe that special needs individuals have the right to be in public communities, participating in as many activities as they want and living their life like anyone else. We want to provide a safe home for them to live the rest of their lives knowing they are loved, respected, valued, and encouraged to be all God created them to be.
Our Purpose
There is an overwhelming need in the state of Mississippi for homes and day services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other intellectual and developmental disabilities, to be able to live their lives in the communities of their choice. These communities may be in the city or out in the rural areas, it depends on their preference, their choice.
Therefore, a group of parents, grandparents, and friends with a great passion for these individuals have decided to form a non-profit organization to solicit funds to buy or build and maintain homes and provide round the clock care for these individuals to live an amazing life. They want to live and be accepted like everyone else, they just need all of our help in doing so.
Raising Forever Homes is a non-profit organization made up of people who have a passion for doing what we can to help with this growing problem.
